Collaborators are sister businesses or regular customers. I call them collaborators because it's a relationship, not a one-time gig. The relationship is built on trust and understanding. How am I supposed to accurately photograph a business if I don't know the core what the business is about?
"Good branding is tough, but it's the only thing that many customers use as a basis for their purchases. It encompasses many aspects of a business, and one of the most important is social media. In today's increasingly digital world, things like Facebook, Instagram, and a website are the first hurdle for new customers. How do you cut through the clutter and interest customers? It all starts with quality images.
You eat with your eyes first. In a very literal sense, if a restaurant has unappealing or poor quality images, that presents a certain image to their potential customers. They won't want to come in and risk confirming that the food is as bad as the lighting in that cellphone photo, even if it actually is top notch.
Good photography is key to successfully reaching new customers, and that's where Raeley comes in. For us at Grounded, we had a website and Facebook page, but they were just okay. They didn't convey the effort and care we put into each drink. Raeley worked with us to develop a style of photography that lives up to our products. She has helped us tell the story of Grounded and the people who visit. She listened to our desires, guided our vision with her creative eye, and then accurately captured it in film. Our online presence has gone from home-cooked and obvious to sleek and professional. But feel free to be the judge for yourself. With very few exceptions, she is responsible for all of the photos on www.grounded.coffee and on our Instagram account @groundedmadison.
We are so glad to have partnered with Raeley!"
"As a video production enterprise, Camisary also provides you with a deep bench in research skills, educational experience, assessment and evaluation expertise, and extensive work in the public, private, and social sectors of the economy, ranging from high-tech startup experience to government service to nonprofit and philanthropic foundation work. This means that your project is likely to be well informed in terms of design, content, and evaluation most suited to your objectives and target audience."
Basically, they produce high-quality researched videos for and of you or your business. We have very similar work standards and work ethics which allows us to collaborate quite nicely. As this is a new business relationship, I look forward to seeing what happens.

Doug is one of my favorites to photograph. He always smiles and never blinks!
I've been hanging out with him in Huntsville exploring local businesses and ways to stay healthy.
If you have some time, read his first blog post where you'll see some of my photography.
