It is with a heavy heart that I took, edited, and uploaded these photographs. I could not get over the tragedy of what happened 75 years ago, and that I was in the location of where it happened.
Pearl Harbor never seemed to be that big of a deal to me, so visiting the site and re-learning about it while I was there just drove it home.
I decided to edit these into black and white with a slight blue and red tint to reference the photographs that I saw while I was there. I think that the blue tint helps to add to the somber and serious mood that we should remember Pearl Harbor with. You'll also notice photographs of tourists that have a rather..... sarcastic tone in black and white because they are obviously having a lot of fun. There are also photographs of tourists taking the monuments seriously, and to me, they seem to blend in rather than stand out.
